Le Soula Rouge, Côtes Catalanes

The Le Soula Rouge, like La Macération du Soula #19 orange wine we also offer, is in the very highest echelon of what one might term ‘fine wine’.

By which, we understand that to mean wine from driven and passionate people with fabulously sited vineyards and small scale production and Le Soula Rouge is all of these things.

Le Soula Rouge is comprised of 53% Carignan, 37% Syrah and 10% Grenache Noir aged for 22-months primarily in oak vats and barrels and a paltry 9,000 bottles are produced.

Sumptuous and concentrated, with a marvellous and authentic, rich, warm fruitiness and a frisson of wild edginess, just reminding us of its remote upbringing.
