Chianti Classico, Fonterutoli
Italy
£26.50
From one of the very best estates in Chianti, the Castello di Fonterutoli Chianti Classico is an exemplary wine of the highest quality.
Sangiovese at 90% is the dominant grape variety with a little Malvasia Nero and Colorino making up the blend.
Twelve months in oak barrel adds richness and depth to this elegant and wholly pleasing glass of wine. It is good enough to take on rich tomato dishes and we find it particularly satisfying when paired with aged cheese.
