Chablis Premier Cru Secher, Jean Collet et Fils, France
Secher is a lieu-dit of Vaillons, a smaller section of vineyard with exceptional vines. A touch of oak adds depth and complexity to the rich and opulent Chardonnay flavours. Tropical fruits with mineral notes and a generous, lasting fullness on the palate.
Signature White, Mullineux, Swartland, South Africa
Super white from the excellent Mullineux estate. Chenin Blanc, Semillon and Viognier are the main grapes in this full bodied wine which is aged in old oak barrel giving a rounded nature to the beautifully evolved taste.
Pouilly-Fuissé, Terres de Menhir, Gilles Morat, Burgundy, France
A fantastic Chardonnay from one of the best vineyards in Pouilly-Fuissé. Morat makes a vital, ebullient dry white with tropical fruit notes and a firm character. Lean and distinctive it fills the mouth with pleasing richness.
Rully, Vincent Dureuil-Janthial, Burgundy, France
Luscious, velvety Pinot Noir with plummy aromas and red berry fruits. Balanced and generous it has a fragrant style which is inviting and warm. A tremendous red from one of Burgundy’s rising stars.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Enterprise Vineyard, Knappstein Wines, Australia
Medium bodied elegant Cabernet from Knappstein’s Enterprise vineyard. Mature and developed it has nose of bramble fruits and leafy firmness with a supple, evolved flavours and a hint of rich oak on the finish.
Malbec, Primeras Vinas, Bodegas Lagarde, Lujan de Cuyo, Argentina
Malbec from century old vines with is aged in oak for around 18 months then left to settle in bottle for a further 12 months before sale. Smooth on the palate with red fruit notes, ripe vanilla and spicy undertones.
