Cap Est
Lebanon
£38.50
Massaya Cap Est is pale ruby in colour, with a nose that subtly blends violets and very ripe red berry fruits.
On the palate, seductive velvety elegance overlays an attractive weave of fine tannins, highlighting the minerality of the terroir. A seamless wine combining power and elegance beautifully.
Cap Est spends 22-months in oak vats before being bottled without fining or filtering.
Only 25,000 bottles of Cap Est are produced by Massaya in the most north-eastern part of the Bekaa Valley at Raas Baalbeck, which stands at an altitude of 1,200 metres. This is an arid and continental environment, where Mount Lebanon and the Anti-Lebanon mountain ranges meet.
