A dry, full-bodied wine, aged in oak barrels, Casalforte Valpolicella Ripasso is made from carefully selected grapes with high sugar content which are fermented while constantly being mixed to extract colour and tannins from the berries.
The Ripasso method then has the wine passed over the grape skins left from the production to increase alcohol, body and aroma. Some of this wine is then aged in cask to give a dry and full flavoured wine with red fruit notes and spicy touches.
Casalforte Valpolicella Ripasso is rich and intense on the nose, with wonderfully complex aromas of cherry, red fruits and spices.
