Goldschatz
Germany
£29.00
Another sublime and exquisitely balanced dessert wine from Oliver Zeter, this is the most intensely rich, sweet wine he does and there is a lot going on in the glass.
A heady blend of four grape varieties, Sauvignon Blanc, Ortega, Huxelrebe and Rieslaner, classified as a “trockenbeerenauslese” (very late harvested grapes) and Oliver’s magic touch in the winery result in this Goldschatz, or “pot of gold” in English.
Pure nectar, exotic and rewarding, luscious and sweet but so much more too.
These high class dessert wines are to be cherished, they are sensational… try with high quality home made brownie and real vanilla ice cream, oh my golly gosh!
